Am I being rude??

I am an Adoptee that was found by my neice (my birth father's granddaugther)a few months ago. We keep in touch through email everyday and I have gotten to know her fairly well. I also have been in touch with my aunt (my birth father's sister). I talk to her about every two weeks so i don't know her that well. I have no qualms about having my neice stay in our house when she comes to visit for the first time but i don't know my Aunt very well and would rather her stay in a hotel. Am I being rude? I don't want to hurt any one's feelings. I'm just scared i guess.

I don't think you are being rude, but whether the aunt will understand or not is a different matter. Are you close enough to your new neice to have her explain it to your aunt (I presume it is her mother?). It's a delicate and unnerving situation and you have every right to proced at your own pace.
