Got a case of the Blues.....

Blue Cheese on Salad - Blue Cheese, you either love it or hate it. I happen to like the taste. But, the only way I know of to use it is on a Salad or in a Salad dressing. I've lots of it right now and need some help with ideas on how to use it.
plus, anyone know how to tell if blue cheese has gone bad?

Oh send some to me! How lucky of you to get all that lovely stuff. I love blue cheese. I think it's nice with red meat. So for example, blue cheese burgers. You can either put the blue cheese on top of the cooked burger, or inside a raw burger and then cook it. You could also top steak with it, or make a sauce for buffalo wings. I did that for the superbowl and it was really good. Much better than bottled blue cheese dressing. I think blue cheese also goes really well with fruit, especially figs. In fact, figss stuffed with blue cheese, wrapped with ham and baked are heavenly! Maybe check out the food network web site? I bet they have tons of recipies. Enjoy!

Oh! you are brilliant! I think we shall have hamburgers made with blue cheese inside on Sunday! yum! bet it would be great with bacon and tomato on the burger! Come to think of it, I have seen displays with wedges of blue cheese placed next to a bunch of grapes. Thank you for the suggestion.
