Listening to good music when driving could light up your mood especially when you are caught in a bad traffic... :P I prefer to have some mellow love songs or slow music when am driving in a pretty hot day...that way I can divert my attention from the hot and busy world outside my car to the soft and slow songs I'm listening to... but when am driving and a bit sleepy especially when I'm going home after visiting my girlfriend, I tend to play some rock or rnb music to keep me alive.. :P how about you, what kinds of music do you play or listen to when you're driving? do you stick to one music genre or you change it depending on your mood? do share your thoughts. :P

I don't often listen to music while I am driving unless I am going on a long journey, then I like to listen to classical music or music from the sixties. My favourite calssical radio station is Lyrics FM and they will play music that is requested by the listeners. For my sixties music, I have to take my own cds with me, as there is very few radio stations that play it.

I think rocky music is good. Stuff to sing along too. Unless you are FIRST learning to drive. Then never mind, NO music or mellow. My sisters radio is broken and we only do listen to Radio Disney or well anything else on her cd player :)) Its cool. I like it. I am addicted. I LOVE the music on there heehee! :))

I like many kinds of music, and it depends on my mood. But at usual, I always like Kelly's songs very much. Because I think our moods are so similar.

I normally just turn up the radio, almost never have any CDs in my car. So I listen to whatever is on. :-)

I try not to listen to fast dance music like tehcno or trance, because I tend to lose track of how fast I really am driving. But the music that I do listen to... anything with a melody keeps me in a mellow mood on the road. I love listening to rap and hip hop music because I love bass, and a lot of my music is from the Dirty South or hard East Coast club music... that keeps the bass pumping. I like mellow rock music when I am cruising in great weather.

I'm always listening to music when driving. But what I listen to depends upon my mood and the situation. Normally if I'm feeling pretty laid back it will be something like Air Supply, Roxette or Sugarland. If I'm a bit irritated it is something more like Blink 182, AC/DC or Ozzy. When I'm trying to stay awake, I find it easier to do so if I'm listening to talk radio. I've also noticed that if I need to change my mood before going somewhere, I can change the music while driving and settle into the mood I need to be in. I keep a wide array of music around just for that purpose alone.

It actually depends on my mood. :) Sometimes if I'm just alone driving, i'd like to hear mellow music but when I've got friends on the car, we mostly prefer the R&B and hiphop songs because it makes more fun. :)

i love listening cool songs especially soft music in cars but i never listen fast tracks when i am driving coz if began o dance there itself the chances of accident increases and ofcorse like every one i dont want to leave this world so early. it depends on my mood weather to listen to the same or have a change.but if its home then its party time, fast and rocking music for me and i go mad.this is my life -music,song ,dance and enjoy.

I listen to talk radio, usually - not the lame political stuff that only people who are 60+ call into, but comedy talk radio. When that's not on or there's no good talk on, I'll flip back and forth between rock/metal, rap, country, or just bust out the iPod and put it on shuffle - and my iPod has every concievable genre of music, plus my favorite talk radio clips.

I make my own CDs to listen to while driving. I listen to '70's oldies and vintage rock! I can't stand country music and the three local stations are all country!! We have one station from a nearby town that plays rap and hip/hop which I really don't care for either.

i don't just listen to any music when driving to work. i'll listen to my favourite morning programme where they have nice catchy songs, invite the listeners to participate in word contest and call up some people to play 'gotcha!' it cheers me up so i can start working right after i reached the office. going back home, i like to listen to some rock song or hip hp, r&b. nice music to relax.
