In choosing a love partner, do you prefer those who is in your age bracket or age doesn't matter at all? Me it quite matters, i preferred those girls who are younger than me. Because for my opinion, the guy must be the one ahead and that's common.

Nope. Only thing that matters to me is if we like each other. You may find that age isn't what brings you together. I have never met anyone and said Oh, gee he is older than me that is a perfect match. I think most people want someone they like. A few years here or there on either side isn't what counts is it? Isn't it more important if you have things in common? I have dated older and younger men. I am not suggesting that woman of 80 yrs. would have too much in common with you but a few years difference between mature indiviuals if there is a true connection is pretty realistic.

I used to think it didn't matter and thats why I agreed to go out with a guy that ws 7 years older than me. However, as our relationship moved forward, I found us disagreeing on a lot of stuff do to his age and where he was in life. Unfortunately things didn't work out with us because we were at two different places in life and going in two different directions. I'll definitely be looking for someone closer to my age this time.

No, it doesn't matter for me as long as you are compatible, has respect for each other, and love one another very much then it's alright to have a relationship whether you are younger or older than your partner is.
