What's the difference between Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2? I'm learning about both programs and it just seems like they both do the same thing. Can anyone tell me what the difference is?

Well both are kinda alike in ways, that they are editing softwares. I am much familiar with photoshop though, the difference is that Illustrator is a vector based program, it uses lines and points instead of pixels, which allows you to create sharper illustrations. You can enlarge your image in Illustrator without messing up the quality because it does not rely on pixels. I have yet to familiarize myself with Illustrator too.
