just a few funny clips on disasters in the kitchen:
quite a while back, i went to visit my friend in 6th grade. and i found her teary-eyed and being teased by our fellow friends. i wanted to rescue her so i asked what was going on. i learned that they were teasing her because she tried to cook sweet potato and it got burnt. to run in her defense i sampled the sweet potato myself and told everyone to stop teasing her because the grilled sweet potato was not that burnt really. after hearing me say that, my friend cried louder. she told me it's boiled, not grilled! --- :)
when one of my sisters got married, everybody was off at church and only my aunt was left to tend to some of the visitors already piling up at the house. not doing much cooking, she was instructed to just use the rice cooker to be sure that she could leave the rice cooking. when we got home, we found the whole rice cooker burnt to destruction. it seems that after she put the rice and water in the rice cooker... she didn't bother with the electric plug. she put the rice cooker and all on the gas stove!--- :)
got any "disaster in the kitchen" story?

these experiances will led people not to make such silly mistakes.
well my story starts, thius was when i was starting with my popcorns to watch movie and eat them too.
suddenly i saw that black smoke coming from my popcorn.
lastly it was not the pop corn as oyu know rather instead of that i got black corns and so my movie plan flopped off.
but i understood my mistakes and till now i havent repeated it yet.and wish that i dont do it too.
i favour people who do such things by mistake but its true that paople learns from his mistakes and so do i.

I think my kitchen is the biggest disaster area in my home. Since I joined myLot I keep forgetting about the cooking. Last week, I decided to put a pan of grease on the stove to make some chipped potatoes. I sat at my pc while I waited for the grease to get hot and it was only after I got a sniff of something burning that I remembered the grease. As soon as I opened the kitchen door, the black smoke just billow out and I could hardly find my way to the windows and doors. The smoke alarms went off and these in turn set off the house alarm and I was very embarrased in case any of my neighbours would call to investigate. After I finally got all the smoke out of the kitchen I decided to settle for boiled potatoes, but I also managed to burn these. Now, I sit in the kitchen with a laptop while I am doing the cooking, and I might add, that I am still trying to get the horrible smell of burned grease out of the house.

one of the results of being addicted to mylot. :)
i'm pretty handy around the kitchen but when i'm also engrossed with something as engaging as mylot... i'm sure people in the house will just have to go hungry. :)
thanks for sharing that. i hope i won't be able to top that. :)
