I started a discussion about how safe your food is and found that some are concerned. With the different food scares. ..E-coli deaths You hear on the news 100s of people get sick and some die from food borne viruses and bacteria every few months. Would you feel comfortable eating irratiated foods,do you give up all raw and undercooked foods,or do you just take a chance?Do you even think about it? I have put in the FDA website concerning irratiated food so you can check for yourself.I would like to see more studies done but when traveling many American eat it without knowing. It looks and tastes the same so unless someone tells you would you know? Do you know if your country allows it?I believe it is here in US but I haven't seen it on a label. http://www.fda.gov/opacom/catalog/irradbro.html

This is a very important issue you have brought up. I like to cook all my food and meat I cook very well through and wash very well in water and then vinegar as this takes away alot of the bacteris. Chicken i wahs in water then in lemon..this also takes some of the bugs away. I just wanted to share these tips with you..hope it helps..

Thanks so much for your thoughtful tips.I'm always trying to keep our food safer.Because of my illness I have to be careful. The sniffles from a cold for most turns into days in bed with fever, chills etc for me.So any new tips I take to heart Thank You Raydene
