lan & dial-up?

LAN is much more faster than dial-up. If it is slow then probably your ISP limit your network speed. Using dial-up the fastest connection is 56 Kbits, while with LAN you can get a few Mbits

I am on broadband at the moment. Have never used dial - up but have heard dial up has to be the worst internet connection ever. It can take about 10/15minutes to connect up to the internet at first and then it can cut out on you and you have to reconnect. As far as I know, companies in Ireland do not do do dial-up internet any more for these reasons, 99% of people are on broadband.

dial-up internet connection is the slowest i have ever seen. better go for broadband. it's really useful, faster and cheaper than the charges of dial-up which are worthless..
