LESSON to be learned from typing the wrong email address:
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a
particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they
spent their honeymoon 20 years before.
Because of their hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their
travel schedules. So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on
Friday, and his wife was flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel, and unlike years ago, there was a
computer in his room, and he decided to send an email to his wife.
However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and
without noticing his error, sent the email to the wrong address.
Meanwhile...somewhere in Houston... a widow had just returned
home from her husband's funeral. He was a Minister who was called home to
glory after suffering a heart attack.
The widow decided to check her email, expecting messages from
relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and
then fainted. The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on
the floor, and then glanced up and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Date: Friday, October 13, 2005
Subject: I have Arrived!
Dearest Love:
I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have
computers here now, and you are allowed to send email
to your loved ones. I have just arrived and have been
checked in. I see that everything has been prepared for
your arrival tomorrow, and look forward to seeing you then.
Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.
PS: Sure is hot down here!!
I got this in an email today..I just thought it was the funniest thing.. Can you imagine..this could really happen. I know I have sometimes sent emails and they have not been recieved...then when I check my sent mail I have found that the address was typed incorrectly... I just hope for the best.. Has anything like this happened to you...have you sent mail to an unknown person by mistake?

Wow!! Yes, this is possible to happen. I received a love note from my husband, but, it ended up being a stranger. Somehow, his wife's name and mine were the same. I responded. Then when I spoke to my husband about it, he was in shock, not a clue to what I was taking about. So, I showed him, and he said that wasn't from him. I emailed the man back, explaining that somehow, we were not eachothers partners. Oh, his name was the same as my husband's too. Is this strange or what? We all had a big laugh about it. Good thing we didn't say anything too sexy. :)

Lol thanks I needed the laugh.. I bet she straighted up her act and becasme a straight laced person after that..lol I would have probably fainted. Teh after I came to I would double check it to see who it came from. I sometimes mess up emails addresses some poeple try to get the the most complicated ones they can with alot of xX_moon_dreamer_Xx and stuff like that I sometimes forget them especially if they have a bunch of numbers in them mixed up. Yes I have sent a few people a note by mistake I kept askin my friends and family if they got them yet or ask if they got their card i sent and they say no and I go and look and it is the wrong address.. Lord I would have hated to have been writing a steamy sexy letter to someone and it ended up in the wrong hands talk about embarrassed..lol

I sure hope the minister's widow had a sense of humor or else she'll be wondering what sins he committed that landed him in the hot place.

Well, this story is really interesting. However, I haven't sent email to wrong person, because everytime i wanted to sent email to another people, i always checked the email address and if it isn't correct i fix it. But this one is really bad. Maybe the husband is really happy or excited because there are a computer and he wanted to tell it to his wife so he was in hurry and didn't checked the email address.
