My butt also used to hurt from sitting on the computer. Eventually I switched to a chair in front of the computer and I'm much better now, thank you. LOL

yowie, yeah, sometimes. the cocyx starts crunching a bit. I broke mine (imagine that!) back in 1989 by sliding off a set of cement steps. Kind of hard to cast your tail bone, so the dern thing never did quite heal right. Wonder if we could get gel pads for the computer chair? maybe a memory foam pillow.

ohh sorry to hear about your cocyx! I think gel pads would be wonderful, and I think they make computer chairs with them now! I just need to buy one! LOL!

lol, yeah after a number of hours my rear starts to hurt too! so now i always sit on top of a pillow too!
it certainly helps..but after about 10 hours even the pillow feels rock hard!

I feel the same after sitting on the chair for too long. In addition, my butt starts to develop abscess which is more painful than sitting too long on the chair.
