Whenever I cook fish, the whole house has a fishy smell. There is smoke all around the kitchen. I open the windows but still the smell persists. The exhaust doesn't help much. I have air fresheners in the bathrooms. Should I be spraying those in and around my kitchen to get rid of the smell? Sometimes the smell persists for more than a day or two. Please help. Thanks in advance.

They said spraying a cologne on the bulb of a lamp may help...the heat have some process that helps spreading the scent... I don't know how exactly but I tried it...It works. just don't spray too much that you'll get the electric line wet too. I'm sure if this happens the only scent your gonna smell is burned ash. LOL

When I cook fish in my home, I cut up a fresh lemon after I am finished cooking. I put the lemon pieces in a pot of water and let it boil. The lemon takes away the fish scent. Hope it works for you...Take care...
