would you have one, why or why not. i think i'd be scared. anything can go wrong and it would be so much safer being at a hospital.

I admire a woman who does the home birth thing. I on the other hand would be too scared. Since I had a high risk pregnancy anyway the doctors would not even consider letting me do something like that. I think that it is best if at all possible to have the birth in a Hospital. In A hospital they can take in account for any problems that may come up. I felt very safe in the hospital as my daughter ended up being born c section because of complications.

After a 23 hour labor with my daughter, no way. Bring on the epiduarals, the nurses and everything else that goes with it. Call me a baby but I don't think I'd ever be able to go the natural route.

I wouldn't want to have a home birth. Not only is it nice to be around all the professionals if something should go wrong, but it's nice to have someone bring you all your meals, make the bed, clean the bathroom etc. With my first birth there were some dofficulties that would have required me to be taken to the hospital by ambulance if I'd been at home. Much better to just be there in the first place. :)
