Unnecessary advice

Some people think they know a lot better than others and start giving advice the first chance they get. I have someone in my family who loves to lecture me about marriage, raising kids, cooking and what not. She has this capability of captivating the listener with her talks, so it is not easy to pull yourself away from these lectures that easily. What should I do? Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hehehe seems she must me my mom part 2 or may be my mother in law part2 . I am sailing in same boat as you are . I have to listen to my mom as I'm elder son of family and to my in laws as their daughter is the only kid they have. They teach me about each odds and evens of life and buisness which I already know. I'm tired of them and thinking of telling them once for all that please I'm grown up now and give me a chance to work according to myself.
