I don`t like the new changes to Mylot.

Well this is my first day here since the changes hope, and I am not at all impressed at first look. It might be that after a while things will change and it will grow on me, but because of other committments I just do not spend the same amount of time here on myLot as I did in the past. It seems very much "in the face" to me and perhaps not quite what I have been used it. I also think that maybe myLot are trying to do way too much and be too many things to everyone, rather than concentrating on one side of things. I come here for the interation with other people and am not interested in blogs or things like that and I suspect that many others feel the same way as I do, if they are honest enough to admit it. So, while I am not impressed with things as they are now I will wait and see if the changes grow on me and if they don't then I will be elsewhere on the internet where I don't have to worry about such things. :) Oh, one final thing, when they did all these changes I think they could have included things like a spell check and perhaps some smilies. Both are badly needed here and would certainly add a lot more to the forum than some of the other things added.

Mylot have been brilliant and have put my pickeis back twice and moved the boxes around for me too. I'm still cutting my time here down because I need to for other reasons but my page was a last straw thing. If you are struggling they will help you - they sent me a message offfering to help, which was super of them! I'm still doing special needs, kids, friends discussions but I'm planning not as much.

I agree with you hope! It seems to take a lot longer to open up pages now also and some people have said their profile pages have had pieces removed from them. I don't much like it either. By the way good to see you back. I hope you are feeling well after your recent hosp trip...

hello Hope,glad to see you still around,missed you. I don't care for the main page either,I am not sure about the blog thingmas I have never figured that out,I just go straight to discussions page. I do hope things are a bit better for you right now,how is that daughter of yours,the 18 year old one?lol Please don't leave,it is nice to have someone that knows what a person is going throughwhen you both suffer the same problem. take care.

I dont see why people would acutally leave because of some changes on the front page. I didnt even notice the changes because I have the "discussions" page bookmaked in my favorites so it doesnt even go to the front page. I like the changes however, its nice...but not something people should be so seriously upset about to the point where they want to leave because of it.
