Are you afraid of snakes?

I used to catch and sell rattle snake in Texas as a teen ager, I do not believe in doing that any more though. So many people are afraid of snakes because their parents or other people told then that they should be afraid of them whereas the snakes (with a few exceptions) are really more afraid of us than we are of them. While out catching snakes if one had a way to get away he/she would take that path. Only if I cornered (with no way to escape) they would they try to strike at me. Snakes are not slimy as a lot of people think (unless they are water snakes that stay in the water all of the time and then when they shed their skin the slime comes off with the old skin. I can trust snakes more than most people because I know what snakes will do but people are different and will surprize you all of the time.

No I am not afraid of snakes. I watch various programme on discovery channel on snakes. I love them. Only need is be careful while any venomous snake appears in front of us. Try to avoid it.
