Good as it used to be?

I still love the show, but the quality is a bit down... I liken the situation with Family Guy to Eminem. When it first came out (or came back, in Family Guy's case), there was a ton of shock value and the "I can't believe they did that" mentality. After a period of time, it's lost its appeal. The one-liners and satire is still hilarious at times, but it doesn't have the full-smarts like it used to. That being said, there are still funny episodes that have meaning. The one I remember most recently was the FCC episode... It's just a matter of trying to be too controversial, like Eminem, and like South Park, too...
