TICKS! I have never even seen a tick till 10 years ago. it was seed ticks that I first encountered. They were ontop of our dog's crate, I thought my husband had spilled coffee grounds and just left it there. I was ready to demand an explanation, until I saw the grounds moving. *ick* What purpose have these parasites? they are without any kind of decorum at all - even ticks get ticks on them! Do you have tick troubles where you live? They can harbor such awful diseases... To control them somewhat, we have chickens and they help. But what really helped to keep them under some sort of control was when we had the Guineas. The were superb tick eradicators. Sadly a predator got all our guins, but we will start up a new batch soon. In the mean time. The kids come in with them attached. The dogs come in with them attached. We come in with them attached. And it ain't bad enough they steal our blood, they feel a need to poison us and make us itch something awful on top of it. What do you do to control ticks?
