I am wondering ,anyone have any ideas what to buy for kids who are older?Easter baskets are a thing of the past to them. They said last year give me money and thats it.I felt so sad.I wanted to buy something Easter like for them.Since they thinmk they are to old for Easter baskets, what is there to buy.Just a bunch of candy and a chocolate bunny?Any ideas? My oldest she's 14 and my son he is 12 and my baby is 11 now.My oldest said mom Easter isn't about the junk you get, it's all about our Lord and Savior.I was like ok, I know this, but where has my babies gone too?

my kids wouldn't know what to do with either a laundry basket or a organizer tub . LOL! But it is a cool idea for older teens and college kids.Thanks.

OK, give them money, but make them work for it. :) What I mean is... Don't just give them a card with the cash in it. I had a grandfather who would roll the money up, into a very thin tube, and put inside an ordinary ball point pen. or, he would fold the bills into little origami shapes. Find a hallow chocolate bunny, carefully cut out the bottom, and put the money INSIDE the bunny. If the bottom is intact, you can place it back on the bunny. Maybe a scavenger hunt of some kind also? Those teen can be tricky.
These are just a few ideas. I think it will make such an impersonal gift a little more personable.hopefully, your children will appreciate the gift just that much more.
good luck, and happy Easter to you!!
