I have heard of these fried coke balls that they are serving at fairs these days. They are like little hot donut balls made with coke syrup and served with coke syrup on them. They sound good and fattening to me. Have you tried them or would you try them?

I first heard about them on the news last year. I thought they sounded decadent. I really want to try them, but haven't as of yet. I don't know if they are even available at our county fair. I haven't been to a fair in over five years...that's pretty bad. I'd try them if given the opportunity though, no matter how fattening they are.

YOU'RE KIDDING AREN'T YOU? OH MY GOODNESS, HOW DISGUSTING! fried sugar with more sugar added. UGH! I assume you haven't tried them, and if you value your life, I suggest you don't. This has to be an American invention since nobody else would be so fascinated with foods that just make you fat and your insulin level go crazy. Look, Poutine is bad enough those things are just too much. I assume they won't catch on.

Actually, like Elephant Ears, here in the US at the county and state fairs, they are making a huge hit. It's not so bad, since it's just a once a year treat. They are catching on quite well from what I understand.
