Eventhough she's four and has gone to a playgroup, she still has difficulties in recognising ABCs... Is this normal? I have used Flash Cards and posters to make her recognise those letters... But still sometimes she's not sure..... Is there a problem with her? Her brother did not have a problem when he was at that age.... Help!!

Be patience my friend and don't give up. I don't use flash cards nor posters, I learned my daughter to recognize letter with things that she sees daily. Such as M from milk, and I'll pointed the letter on the milk package as well or B from Barbie, etc. Sometimes, I'll use baked letter form to make her breakfast bread and we'll spell her name/ letters. And I have many fridge magneet that she can play/ arrange with separate letter picture on it such as A for apple, B for Bee, etc.... And whenever we go out, I always carry note book in my bag to draw her letters when she's show her interest. Good luck !!!

I know for sure I didn't know my ABC's at that age I wouldn't start worrying about it until kindergarten she has to get her brain skills worked up.
