If you commit some terrible crime you will, indeed, become 'famous' in a very short time. Why do you want to be famous? Most famous people will tell you that being famous is a terrible nuisance and hinders you in doing what is most important with your life - living it in as useful way as you believe is possible. Fame, money and adulation seem pleasant things but the people who have really left a mark on this world have all tried to avoid them.
