Do you straighten your hair with a flat iron? If you do, what kind of creams/sprays do you use with it to get rid of the frizz? I straighten my hair almost daily and its getting so much easier to straighten as I get older and get haircuts more reguarly (thank goodness). I use all sorts of different types of creams and sprays to help my frizz stay down as I have very naturally curly hair that can not be blow dried at all.

hair straightening iron - ceramic hair straightener
I love my naturally curly hair and enhance it with curl shampoos and special mousses and such to keep it from frizzing. My youngest daughter uses a straightener but I personally love my curls!

I straighten my hair quite often too. I know how you feel about friz, I have curly hair and its a real pain in the @ss. I actually use a combination of 3 products. First step...after I wash my hair I use a leave in conditioner. I prefer to use a Rusk product called smoother. Second step... as I straighten my hair (flat iron) I spray each section of hair with an AG product called insulate. Its a heat protection spray..it really works at protecting hair from heat damage. third step...after hair in totaly straight I use another AG product called waxx. Its a finishing gloss. It adds shine, texture, seperation and difinition. I love it because it takes care of all the fly aways. All the products I just mentioned are from a salon but welln worth the money. Hope this helps.

My hair is not exactly curly ... but it does have a weird wave and for some reason it has gotten "worse" since having three kids. I here that pregnancy does weird things to people's bodies, but had no idea it would change my hair texture! Any way, I do use a flat iron and before I dry my hair I use Dove's anti-frizz cream. When my hair is dry I use Cristophe Beverly Hills Shiny & Smooth spray. I love the way that it smells!

I used to want to straighten my naturally curly hair. I used a product called Frizz Ease. It worked! I decided I like the curls with the occasional frizz, but Frizz Ease REALLY worked. Now, if my curls look a little frizzy, I get a spray bottle, put water in it, and lightly spray the frizz away.

back in my straightening my hair days there was an awesome product by Paul Mitchell (i think) called Shine. Really great stuff. It was always important for me to use a leave in conditioner and my favorite was a Toni and Guy product. I have given over to my curls. I can really recommend some great products that fight frizz and define curl if you ever want that in the future.

There is a difficult decision to cut long hair especially if had them long time. We become accustomed to have long hair even it not the best way to look good. Sometimes we need adviceof specialist who would make a new avatar, would open yourself as new personality.
