Oh no, I don't do these things. I am thinking all the time so if I scratch my nose or pick my eyebrows while thinking, I shudder to think what would happen to them. I don't really have these "interesting" habits. :P

I fiddle with a strand of hair when I'm thinking. it gets very greasy, because I think a lot. my man jokes that if he cuts my "thinking strand" off, I'll be stupid.

The habitual things I do when I get to thinking about something, involve holding and playing around with my chin; holding, pointing at my temples; and, sometimes I kind of pull my hair at the back. You can add one more which is, looking up at the ceiling as though the answers are written all over there and if I am outside the house, I talk to the trees and the plants around. Weird? It maybe weird, but these tactics work for me so much.

very true. these tricks work. I found that my shaking leg pumps up my thoughts in a better way perhaps it could help you too.

Oh boy...your title alone had me scratch my nose and shoot my eyebrows to the top, LOL. I usually kept fixing my eyeglasses whenever I'm in deep thought. I will keep standing up and zip my coffee or water. I also have this habit of retying my hair coz its really long and getting into my eyes. Hmmm...I better shave my head like a monk then, LOL!!!
