Seven Wonders of the World, works of art and architecture regarded by ancient Greek and Roman observers as the most extraordinary structures of antiquity.
In the ancient world there were seven great man-made structures for travelers to see on a world tour.Lists of the so-called seven wonders of the world sometimes varied. The following list, dating from about the 6th century AD, was a commonly used and standard one:
(1) the pyramids of Egypt;
(2) the Hanging Gardens of Babylon;
(3) the statue of Zeus at Olympia;
(4) the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus;
(5) the temple of Artemis (Diana) at Ephesus;
(6) the Colossus of Rhodes;
(7) the Pharos (lighthouse)of Alexandria.

i suppose that the Great Wall of China is included.am i wrong?i've heard from high school that the Great Wall is among the seven wonders of the world.i cant tell them all,but in my memory,the Great Wall is in.
now i am totally confused.can you tell me the details?

Thanks for the review of 7 wonders of the world.It should have included here the Chocolate Hills of Bohol Philippines for the eight spot.

I think you have missed out one wonder form your list. It is TAJ MAHAL from INDIA. Even it is one of the seven wonders in the world. It is a symbol of LOVE :). I think an eight wonder also has to be added in the list, you know who it is? Dont worry i will give the answer, ITS ME :))))))
