hi! i'm almost a month here, while i haven't been here that long, people find that my average earnings per post is higher than what some people get.
recently my 15 posts would earn me $1.04, my highest for a day is $2.44, that's when i qualify for pay-out last march.
for quality responses, please make sure it is relevant and useful to the discussion. avoid one-liners. if you can make it longer at least 3-5 lines at the minimum, better.
people appreciate responses that can be of use to them. yours must be original, not copied from somebody else's response.
i always go for sincere responses. i also use simple words that are easy to understand. it helps the readers better.
never be rude. please respect opinions of others. theirs may be different from yours but respect them nonetheless.
i try to be as helpful as possible when i write my responses because i find that people tend to be helpful as well in responding in my own discussions.
lastly, respond to discussions of your own interests or topics which you have knowledge or experience about. it helps you to relate to the discussion, thus you can write more relevance to it.
hope this few pointers help. others may be doing it differently, i'm just sharing my experience. i don't go for the numbers. better to stick with the quality even if few.
also, enjoy your mylot time here. it's best to do the things you can enjoy. goodluck! :)

I'm still rather new here, since I joined only a couple of weeks ago. It is my understanding that quality posts are at least a couple of lines long and are well written. Others who have been here longer can probably shed more insight!
