Have you ever been bitten by a cat ?

I personally would make sure there was no infection from the bite, cats eat raw meat as in birds, mice etc which may carry germs, probably would be best to make sure to be safe, also cat scratches can become infected as they use their claws for digging climbing burying there excrement these are all hazzards to be aware of tc

I haven't been bitten by a cat, but I've been scratched more than once. And, I do know that you can come down with Cat Scratch Fever from them, if they get infected and stuff. In which, I'd assume that you'd have to take injections or get the proper treatment.

I've worked with animals most of my life so yeah, I've been bitten and scratched by cats a few times. Cats can transmit some things to humans so it's best to call your doctor to see what s/he recommends. Don't be scared :) I was once injured by a brown bat that tested positive for rabies. I don't like to go to the doctor so I asked if I could wait and if I felt sick go then. They said by the time you show symptoms it's too late!! THE SHOTS ARE NOWHERE NEAR AS BAD AS THEY USED TO BE!! They updated my tetnus and gave me, if I remember correctly, three rabies shots that day. The tetnus shot was in my upper arm and the three rabies were my other upper arm and each thigh. They weren't any worse than any other shot! I had to go back in for a few more shots, again in the arms or thighs, but that was it! No big deal :)
