bought a cell phone for the wifey a few years back. she lent it to her kids to use while away from the house.2 months later i get a bill for 539.00 for internet charges.i didn't know it would recieve internet, nor did i understand that the first 3 months were free for phone service only, and that any other services would be charged for. tell me i'm not the only one out on this big blue marble, thats ever run into this.

Wow that would be pretty alarming. I had a cell phone bill of about $800 before, but it was strictly calls and text messages, no internet or anything. It all adds up though, and text messaging can be pretty expensive alone. I never even knew they offered things like first three mos free. I have never gotten a deal like that. I guess that is a wake up call for everyone to be super careful. Sorry that had to happen to you though.
