Do you ever sleep in on the weekends?

Today - Easter Sunday - I was actually able to sleep until 7:30 a.m., something I have not done in more than a year. For the first time, in I do not know how long, did my thirteen-month-old son sleep through the night without interuptions, and I feel so rested. My husband is still in bed though and it is 9:20 a.m, and I just thought about how long it has been, since I was able to do this. Do you sleep in on the weekends, and what time do you like to wake up?

Unfortunatly no, I cant even remember the last time I've slept in! Usually the kids have me up by 6am at the latest. And the baby likes to wake even earlier than that. I think the last time I actually slept in, was before my oldest son was born and he is 7 1/2 now!

Wauw, I think you have deserved a break, but I guess this is a tough one, especially if you have a fifth child on the way? What about your husband/partner, does he ever sleep in? Is is always you, who have to get up with the children, or do you wake up automatically by now? I know that I woke up at 6:30 a.m., wondering where my son was, and I seriously had to go check to see, whether or not he was still breathing.

I wish I could and it's not because there is no opportunity. But, my internal clock just wakes me up very early. Any sound or lighting wakes me up as well. But I really love the early morning hours so it's ok. There are times, though, when I get to bed the night before and I only get about 4-5 hours of sleep because I can't sleep in.
