As defined, taboo words are those words that are socially prohibited and are unacceptable... This is the reason why most of us are taught to NOT say such kinds of words...
But when a person grows up, he eventually learns to mention such words for expression until such time that whenever something unpleasant comes in, the taboo word comes out - sometimes, unknowingly...
How about you??
Do you actually say taboo words??
Do you use such words for expression of your feelings??

I grew up being so conscious of not saying those taboo words or else I'll have my mouth slapped or washed with soap by my elders. However, just lately I noticed that I started saying taboo words when I am frustrated or impatient with something or someonse. I try not to say them, but once in awhile, it just slips.

Sometimes, it really is quite difficult to control. But like you, I grew up conscious about what comes out of my mouth, because what comes out of one's mouth may spell out the personality that a person is projecting...
In my case, I think I'm successful at controlling myself properly but when I'm alone, I have a tendency of saying those words - well at least I'm sure nobody else is hearing it... When I get burned by something, when an ant bites me... Occurrences like those just trigger the taboo words but mind you, I really am trying hard not to blurt those all out...
