Quality Posts...

A site like mylot requires quality posts... Everytime we land on this site, we always try to achieve this 'quality level' because we know it's got something to do with our status here, and of course, it's got one great bearing to our earnings.. But there might be several interpretations to the tag 'QUALITY POST'. Personally, I think a quality post is one that has real substance and sense.. It encourages a reader to think well about it... How about you?? What are your standards for a quality post?? What is a quality post for you?? Please say your thoughts...

I share the same sentiment as you in terms of what constitutes a quality post. Personally I try to aim to give a reply that states my personal point of view. Also, I try to describe and explain in greater detail why I have a certain view or why I like something more than something else, to what extent I believe in something, etc. Additionally, I appreciate it when people give a point of view that's completely different from others. It's even better when they are able to explain their views. This makes the whole issue a lot more thought provoking, interesting and enriching for all mylotters.

Explaining in great detail is also one of my great goals here at mylot, but sometimes, I think it's quite difficult to be consistent in giving out many specifics.. What I do mostly is summarize what's in my mind and tell what I think is most important without sacrificing the major supporting facts... I guess doing that would be a lot better rather than writing so much that just goes 'round the bushes...

to me a quality post is when that person has took the time and gave it some effort to give me a great response and also it is quality to know that they have took time to respond in great detail

A quality post also has some originality in terms of idea. There may some postings that is similar to it but in terms of idea and as you say, substance, it has something more to offer.

well for me a quality post is sharing your ideas here in mylot and have people here in mylot comment about it. the more you get their responses, the more you have the quality. ^_^
