How do people on MyLot determine which posts are worthy of responses? I usually judge it by length and where I find the post and if it has any provacative questions or descriptions. It seems like some topics have a ton of responses and then others have close to zero responses. What's your standard for deeming a post worthy of a response?

for me, it has to be on a subject im interested in. It has to be something I can actually contribute something to too. Im not going to respond when i have got nothing to say on the subject, nor if the subject is so lame that it only needs a few words to tackle it anyway. If there is enough scope for me to leave a quality response and it is something i am interested in, i will reply, otherwise i just move on blessed be

I think the best way to find quality discussions is to seek quality friends. The first thing I do on myLot is to check discussions my friends have started, and this usually gives me a number of quality discussions to reply to. Apart from these, it is often difficult to find quality discussions. I check through interest discussions and pick up a few. Another way to find good discussions is to visit someone's profile when you find a particular response that appeals to you. Visiting that person's profile and answering discussions from there has been called "stalking" but I see nothing wrong with it and it can lead to good discussions and good friendships.
