Do you help your child with his/her homework? Should a child be given a failing grade if it is obvious the parent did most of the work?

um that depends. some children are overburdened, and some projects are too advanced for them. I just don't know

The child shouldn't be given a failing grade unless the child went off and played while the parent did the work. I'm sure that the child helped with the homework, and took the time to sit there and learn it while their parents showed them how to do it. The child doesn't deserve a failing grade. Maybe a few docked points, or a meeting with the parents...But NOT a failing grade.
