In summer most of the children are adicted of watching TV. It is good habit also, but only watching serials is not enough. There are many channel like discovery, gyandarshan, doordarshan which telecast many educative programmes. You should suggest your niece to watch these also. Only watching family serials are not enough to improve knowledge. I also spend at least 2 hours daily on TV but on national geography, discovery etc channels. I do not watch any serials as most of the serials are based on high profile family background. It does not match with our living style, so I avoid.
