hi...samrat 16.iur recipies were great but sorry to say i m vegeteranian.ur rasam was usefull.do u know anything abt pepper rasam.we get it as a soup and appitizer in d restaurants.its great in taste.

for pepper rasam , first dry fry pepper,toor dal,and dhania 1 spoon each and grind them,then i will boil some water with tomato,ginger garlic paste,grinded powder,salt,green chillies. drain the liquid after 10 minutes of cooking. make tadka with tumeric,curry leaves and mustard seeds.add this to the rasam and boil for 5 minutes and in it u can also add sugar 2 spoons if u want.try this recipe.

Okay dear friend, here is recipe for pepper rasam . I think you should write it down . Haven't had it yet but will ask wife to prepare one soon for me too . Melagu (Pepper) Rasam Ingredients: Tomato - 2 Coriander - 1/4 tsp Pepper - Jeera - 1/4 tsp Garlic - 2 cloves Salt to taste Rasam powder - 3 tsp coriander leaves Lemon juice - 3 tsp Preparation: Add 2 cups of water in a pan, and add the tomatoes and crush them well, Add the ingredients with coriander seeds ,pepper , jeera ground well together. Let the rasam boil for about 6 minutes in low medium heat Then finally add the coriander leaves Heat some oil in a seperate pan and add some mustard seeds, with curry leaves ,urud dal , chana dal and asafoetida fry them till the dals turn golden brown to finally add to the rasam.
