baby names for a boy

so far we're thinking either
holt charles
riley charles
logan charles
what do you think of these names? charles for the middle name is after my father. we're thinking holt because we have a hannah and a hailey and it would stick with the h's. but we're not getting much positive feedback on that name. what do you think ?

WOW, those are all cool boy names. I personally, like Logan, but I think it's because it's a character from a book I read that I really enjoyed. (Sorry, I can't remember the book at the moment!)
I like Holt, also. It's unusual, I don't know any Holt's. But, I'm one to like unusual names. Even thoughmy kids have common names... Matthew, Sydney, and Megan. Wierd, huh?
Good luck with your decision. It's such a chore that one would think would be so easy to do. :)

it really is a hard thing to do. especially knowing this will be our last one to pick a name for :( it was easy with the first one because if we liked 2 names we could always use one on the first kid and one on the second kid. lol. my husband likes riley better, i like logan better. and no one seems to really like holt except me. lol. hannah my 4 yr old likes logan. so i don't know if we'll out vote daddy or not. lol. i always said if we had a boy he could pick the name, so i may let him have riley. i do like riley.

I like the name Riley, also, but I hesitated with that since you were putting it with the name Charles. There is a comedian Charles Nelson Riley- and that was my first thought when I read Riley Charles. Silly, huh?
I understand how you feel about everyone shooting down a name that you choose. My DH and I really liked the name Megan, but then I heard "LUCY." Oh, how I wanted our youngest to be Lucy. I still like the name, but no one else does. I guess I'll save it for our next pet.

I really like Holt and Logan. f you want other H names you should look them up at either http://www.babynames.com or http://www.babynamesworld.com
I'm personally nota big fan of Riley. Maybe its cause I knew a family with the last name Riley and they used to drive me insane big time!
Good luck in deciding. Its a tough decision to pick out names for child. I had the hardest time when I was pregnant. I kept switching it and switching it until I found one I really liked and stuck.

Riley is a cool name, and it can be for a boy or a girl. Logan makes me think of the airport in Boston. Holt is the last name of a really good teacher my son had. They're all names that will probably be spelled right by most people. That's important.

we think we're going to go with riley :) in one baby book riley charles means brave man lol. i still like logan though. this may be one of those wait until he comes out then decide things lol.

Personally I dont like holt as a name but that might be cultural. Its not a name i heard before.
I like riley and logan. My son is called Yoran. One of his middle names is charles

i heard holt on a tv show called dirt. i thought it was kind of nice and unique, but no one else seems to like it lol.
