BABY SURVIVES 100-POUND TELEVISION FALLING ON HIS HEAD.... Just last month, Lacey Iles stepped out to rent a movie, leaving her 6-month-old son Cole home alone with his dad, Bud. Bud had just set up a new flat screen TV. He put his son down and then attempted to slide his old entertainment center out of the way. He didn't see that Cole had rolled directly in front it. Suddenly, the 100-pound television came crashing down on Cole's head. Bud says he "can't forget" the sound of the TV falling on his young son's head. A panicked Bud then called 911. He told the 911 operator that a TV fell on his son's head, and that he wasn't breathing and "looked like he was about to die.".......... http://www.insideedition.com/ourstories/inside_stories/story.aspx?storyid=697 FALLING TV CRUSHES BABY TO DEATH....... If the tv is dangerous is not the question. I would question the competence of the child's parents. Dad forgot that 6 month old babies can move. Give me a break. He needs a parenting class, maybe they can put it on TV for him, since he is more concerned with the TV then his own son.

I agree, I think the kid should have been put in a playpen so he could not get into trouble. I think he was to interested in his new toy (plasma TV)then what his son was doing. Kids explore and parents in both cases need to watch their kids.

Is quit a pity that such an evil could befall someone. To me i think in a house that you are having kiddies, you need to put them into consideration in everything you are doing.it could be TV,it could even be some other home appliances, just put the kiddies into your plan.

Come now, are you sure about that? I mean, that television would crush Oprah's skull. Just imagine what it would do to a baby rhinocerous.
