Was anyone else disappointed by the fight scenes?

Now, in general, Ghost Rider is big, dumb, stupid fun as long as someone else is buying the tickets. But I was wondering: Was I the only one who expected more out of the fights with the three Nephilim? (Earth, Water, and Wind- Ghost Rider was fire.) I mean, all the first one was was "I'm all out of mercy," one punch, and a finish. That's all. The water fight was even lamer. Only the wind was half good. In my opinion, the thing that made me go see this movie was (A) Seeing the Rider, and (B) watching him wreck a whole bunch of guys. They did several scenes of wrecking well, but were the Nephilim fights crushingly disappointing? (They were, however, more than made up for by the Hellfire shotgun and the final Penance Stare, even though I saw the whole "thousand souls to burn" thing a mile away.)

oh thats a bummer to hear. i havent seen it yet, but it sounds to me like it wasnt really worth the cost of tickets at the theatre?
ill put it on netflix then. did Cage make a good Ghost Rider? in some interviews i saw, he said that he read the comics and was very excited to be able to play the character. did he do it justice?

He did it justice, but in a quirky, Cage sort of way. Not a bad thing, of course, just a little different. The movie was good, and Cage made a good Johnny Blaze. He would never have scored this role had it been his face and voice while he's actually kicking butt.
As it stands, the sequences where he becomes the Rider are nothing short of awesome.

what about black heart? what element was he?
Frankly, I am disappointed @ the whole movie. the villians looked so vampirish than demons & no "evil" charisma whatsoever.. well maybe Peter Fonda made a good devil. well, not that good.
Nic Cage looks OLD. Eva Mendes is just boobs and not to forget, nice butt & that fat dude from blade, meh couldn't act.
About Nic, I have never been a fan of the original comix so I can't judge him if he was a good GR or not. the whole film ranks with the level of DD. I'm not sure there will be a sequel to it in the near, near future.
