Do you have family meals?

every person is adviced to have family meals since it grows the affection and values of the family members of the family..i used to have meals with my family atleast one time a day

As a child, we almost always had family meals. DH's family would usually sit in front of the TV. We end up doing some of both. If both my stepkids are over, we eat at the table - there's only enough room at the table. If DS is taking a nap during dinner and only one of the stepkids is here, we'll eat by the TV. I prefer the table, but I think we have a good compromise. It's pretty much equal either way.

We didn't have traditional family meals wherein all of us would sit together on a table and eat. I wish we had, though. I always envied those thing whenever I watch American TV. In the future, when I have a family of my own, I promised myself that my family would get a traditional family meal. I hope I'll be able to keep that promise.
