What if All Schools had gardening class and grew their own foods!

I think this is a wonderful idea as long as they stick to growing food products. Of course, wouldn't they also need a little farm so that they could raise a little meat to go along with the vegetables? I'm thinking that maybe students would eat a little healthier if they were responsible for the food.

That is a wonderful idea. It would be fun and a healthy schooling for the children. They would be learning how to grow foods even if they are not already in schools.

Then our children would grow up knowing how good it feels to plant something, nurture it and help it grow. They would know the satisfaction that comes from growing their own food, from working in nature and the great feeling of being able to share the fruits of their labor with others. They would also learn just how much better fresh, organically grown food tastes.
