The lid is too tight!!!

I always seem to struggle to get the lids of jars and bottle tops off colddrinks. Lately they put a plastic seal around the outside of the lid for our protection. That has to be cut off. Does anyone else battle with tops or am I just a 10pound weakling?lol

Yeah, that plastic seal is a pain. They have a perforated edge down the middle but I can never seem to get it to rip there. And to make matters worse some of the drinks like gatorade for example also have an aluminum foil type thingy covering the opening...so you get the plastic wrap off, somehow force the drinking spout open, losing half a fingernail in the process, and then you can't get any drink out beacause of the cover and have to take the lid off anyways...they'll be coming with a 50 page instructional booklet and DVD before you know it.

After taking of the plastic wrap, take the bottle, and gently but firmly, hit it against the wall. Just make sure you hold the bottle the right angle, so you hit it on the side of the lid. Up to date it has never failed me.
