I've been the hugest Everclear fan since the early 90's and when the band broke up a few years ago I was devastated. I'd never got to see them live, or to meet any of them.
When Art restarted Everclear with new band members, I was less than impressed. Without Craig and Greg, something was lacking.
Nonetheless, I remained loyal and bought 'Welcome to the Drama Club' but I prefer the early stuff with the original 3.
So on my coffee break I'm flipping through the local paper and I see this small little snippet that says Everclear is playing this club in my city!
I might get to meet Art! I'm buying my ticket tonight!

I always enjoyed Everclear's music too, although I am by no means a devoted fan like you! I do not know them by name, or by album title, but I sure know the songs! When is the concert? What happened to the other band memebers? Is the last memebr standing the original writer of lyrics? If so, at least you will get to hear some classics. If they do play some old stuff, scream really loud when they play "Santa Monica" and "I Will Buy You a New Life."

I believe Art is the primary songwriter, although I know some songs were written by 3rd parties or by Craig and Greg.
Greg, the drummer, started another band, The Oohlas. If you like hawaiian themed music with ukeleles, they're definitely a good one to check out.
Craig started a band called Tri-Polar with former Everclear percussionist, Brian Lehfeldt and they're evidently pretty active playing shows along the west coast.

I have not heard of either of the other bands, but I am not up to date with following much music like I used to. Well, I am on the west coast, so I will be listening to see if they cross my area anytime in the future!

Everclear broke up? Wow, I need to read up more on the artists I like. I've been a fan of their since I was about eleven. That's cool that you got to go to their concert. Their older stuff is what keeps me going throughtout the day. I listen to Wonderful and Learning How Smile at least once a day.
