ok so i want to switch religions

i want my kids to have faith. we have faith and we teach our children to believe in god. i should start out that both my husband and i were brought up catholic. my issues are these...there arent too many catholic churches around here, i think that catholics are a bit too strict than i feel they should be, none of the catholic churches around here have a nursery during services and i could go on and on but i wont..lol. i want my kids to go to church, even if it is only once or twice a month. my 4 yr old goes to preschool in a methodist church and they seem very laid back. they teach him that god loves everyone and simple preschool things that i totally agree with. i would love to hear what other people think of their religions..the good and the bad. it seems that many, many people that grew up catholic changed their religion for one reason or another. i would love to hear what my options are. right now, the methodist church sounds good and there is a reformed church up the road that seems great. i was marriend in a reformed church and my grandfather was a reformed church goer. help me!! i want to give my kids a wonderful faith in god!!!
