Im sure everyone has got something of some sort that they collect. Wheather it be small or large. I have been collecting Unicorns for many many years, I love them they are so magical and mystical. I have quite a few hundred in a glass display cabinet. Thank god the kids know not to go near it ..lol. What do you collect or have a set of?

I don't collect items any more. They take up too much spsace & many require dusting. My daughter collects books, among other things.

I haven't collected for years but I used to collect bells, and cats ornaments, and at one time I collected fancy writing paper. Right now I do not really have a collection at all.

Collections are cool and even with kids, its good to encourage them collect because it gives them something to look for when out shopping. I am really into antiques and have several collections...one is cobalt blue glass, another is old books, another is flower frogs (these are globs of glass that they used to put in the bottom of a vase - the glass has holes in them that the stem went into...my dad collects buttons and pins, my mom, depression glass, my daughters used to collect ty beanies and pez containers and now my oldest collects chinese things for her room and my youngest collects monkeys. hubby just pays the bills...can that be a collection too? :-)

Your collection sounds very interesting, they all sound great. We have not found anything in particular for my daughter to collect. She just wants everything..lol. But she has a fair share of Bratz dolls.

We collect knives and swords. We have over 200 knives and 35 swords. The collection exists because I'm a black belt and I was taught how to appreciate a good thing. The discipline teaches me to fear no man, but to respect life for it's value. My wife also enjoys the collection because it represents power and wealth in some cultures. From the mid evil times to today I've enjoyed all the variations in styles of these items and the owners of the most famous. Like excaliber that made "The Sword in the Stone" so popular.

Thats sounds really interesting and different. But I would be too scared to have them in my house with kids, maybe unless they are locked away. Id be too scared of accidents.

I collect Beatles' memorabilia, and also old movie posters (although I don't have nearly the hundreds as you do in unicorns).

I guess my collection is weird, but I like to collect coffee cups and/or T-shirts from places where we go on trips. My husband is in the union and is treasurer of his branch so we get to travel quite a bit. Those are also sovenirs that don't take up quite as much room in the suitcase.

Andrew Brownsword's Forever friends - Forever friends teddy bear
I like to collect things but I have to say, I'm only good at the start...what I mean is, I like something one day and the next day, I like something else. Call me promiscuous when it comes to things. LOL. I used to collect comic books, then pocket books, my latest collection right now are teddy bear figurines called "forever friends" from Andrew Brownsword. They're so cute. I've got a couple but I've stopped collecting because it's so hard and expensive to get a hold of those on ebay.
