Dream homes

I was wondering what everyone had in mind as their dream home. My dream home is a nice log home, set in the woods, surrounded by a lot of trees, maybe a stream, and a lot of land. I want a big stone fireplace, a nice size living room, and a big cheery kitchen with an AGA stove. I want an office/library where I can go and relax. I want big windows that let in a lot of light. And a lot of closets and storage space. I don't want a huge house, just something for my husband and me, something we can be comfortable in. When we bought this house, we were in a huge hurry and didn't really have time to find the perfect house, although it's nice, and not very big it is definately not our dream home. Of course, I am thankful that we found something as nice as this for a good price, I just sometimes wish we would have had more time to look.

my dream house is just a simple house, lol. i would like the sunlight entering through most windows. big kitchen, as i love to cook, wooden floor dining room, spacious bedrooms. i want to have an office/computer room. i want a spacious living room. if i can have a swimming pool in it i would. and a lovely garden. the house we live in at the moment is just right as well. we have what we need - but if we are going to be blessed with more, then that would be a real treat. we haven't got the right amount of money to purchase my dream house before..so we're living comfortably in a home which we can afford. it's still good to dream about that house though, lol!

That's it, we live in a home we can afford, but it is nice to dream!

Well, I guess my dream house sounds alot like yours. I would love to have a cabin out in the woods as long as it has all the modern amenaties. When we bought our house 7 years ago we got it at a good price but its kind of small and to close to the inner city for my taste. Maybe some day I will have enough equity in this place to sell it and get a better place. Take care!!

We moved out of the city and into suberbia when we moved here, and it's close enough to the country, but still our own land would be nice. The only thing I do have is a creek that crosses the back of my yard.
