Are strawberries supposed to be sour?

All the strawberries i have eaten are a bit on the sour side. I have always thought they were supposed to be sweet. Maybe it is just not suited for our country? I also tried the ones from Hong Kong.

Daniel It depends on where you bought it from and whether it is ripe. Once suggestion is to keep the strawberries in the fridge first and only take it out and eat it when required - this may make it taste sweeter.
