Do you ever wonder about thunder.
Do you wonder why pets are afraid of thunder.
When a pet hears thunder.
They go under something,
Or do you wonder why some people are afraid of thunder.
Do you wonder why the Earth has bad weather to begin with.
Do you wonder why bad things happen.
Do you wonder why bad things happen to good people.
I just wonder all the times about different things.
I just sit and wonder.
There sure are a lot of strange things happening in this world right now.
And it does make me wonder WHY?

Thunder is just physics.
Of course animals are afraid of sudden noises and if we seek to comfort them (rather than just ignore the thunder and their response) we actually reinforce the sense that there is something to fear.
As for bad things happening... life is just random. For thousands of years people have tried to explain to themselves the causes and consequences of events - inventing gods, karma, past lives and the like to try to explain why bad things happen to good people, because we just struggle to get our heads around the utter randomness of the universe.

People and pets are afraid of thunder for the same reason. It is loud and unbalances the equilibrium. They also sense the threat in it.

Here our ancient people didn't know what thunder was all about, they imagined there was a Thunder God in heaven.

Animals are afraid of loud noises. I don't care for loud noises either! The world is in a turmoil right now both politically and environmentally. There are explanations for both. I hope you have a good day.

It is natural to wonder about these things, especially when there are many mysteries in the world. Thunder can be a powerful and intimidating sound, which might explain why some pets and people are afraid of it. As for bad weather and other challenging events, they are often part of the natural world's cycles. As for why bad things happen to good people, it is a complex question with no easy answer. While we may not always have the answers to these questions, pondering them can lead to deeper insights and understanding of the world around us.

No, I don't wonder about a lot of those things. God is the one in charge of it all, and that's all I have to know.

Bad things happen because we live in a sinful, fallen world. The Bible warns us of these things as a result of Adam and Eve's original sin. Praise the Lord that He loved us so much that He made a way for us to escape eternal judgement and that is through the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
