It is not that I follow what the Royals do or don´t do.

But I confess that I´m very happy that King Charles III seems to be better. King Charles III has led a life that not many would like to lead in spite of being a heir to a throne. When he was young he fell in love with someone. They shared a lot of things but she was not "suitable" for him. So he could not marry her. And then, later on, he HAD to get married to have children. Love was not in the minds of anyone. She only had to be the father to an heir. Meanwhile he was the Prince for ages. He could not do what he wanted but what was expected of him. And his mother reigned for decades and decades. He was not crowned until he was in his seventies. And then, not long after he was crowned, the cloud of cancer came along. I´m glad that he could finally get married to the person he loved although I don´t think that many would have been so patient. And I don´t think either that many wives would be as patient as Camila. She even had had to be compared to a story book Princess all her life. I hope that he gets well. He deserves to be the King for a longer time and do the job that he has wanted to have for a longer time. Ithink that his first outing, going to a Cancer Hospital, means that he wants to mix his personal life with the life of his people.

I hope he gets well soon and I hope Princess Catherine gets well also. I am so sad that she has had Cancer and is on Chemo.

It is terrible when young people have those ailments. Noone knows the outcome.

I would not want to be a royal or even a noble woman, the expectations by the public and lack of privacy is not at all something I would like. Queen Elizabeth II was not prepared properly for the throne because her uncle was supposed to be King but he abdicated.

I spent most of my early childhood wanting to be a Princess and marry a Prince. That´s the time when I wanted to get married, buy a big bus and fill it with children. I´m glad I grew up. I have 2 daughters and sometimes they are precious and sometimes they are too many.

@rebelann I went to a school where you had to have lunch there. I returned home hungry and angry. Only hospital food is worse than that.

You are better in your circumstances, you have a family that matters and I know you did not ship your girls to boarding school like the royals do so many times with their children.

It's a tough life for sure, in a gilded cage as they say. I wish him well.

It is. And he had to wait so long. I´m sure that my middle class life has been better than his many times.

I agree with all that you say. I'd hate to have my entire life under scrutiny.

Those poor Royals are anything but happy. Just to think that Harry named his book "Spare" makes me shiver. I would not want to be born for that reason.

It seems that he is getting better, judging by the news.
