Have you heard of this show? I guess it has been on for a few years, but I just discovered it. Anyway, some "normal" people are locked up with prisoners in a county jail for 60 days so they can tell the admin what is going on. They seem to pick fairly shaky normals though because usually within a few weeks they seem to be acting like the prisoners. However, part of it is probably survival mode. They had one last night that told her prison girlfriend she was there undercover, endangering not only her safety, but the other one in the same pod. Not only that they had a party for her there which was wild, but it included taking prescription drugs in a "whip it" I mean how dumb is this woman? Lucky she didn't get locked up for real. Hard to believe this stuff goes on under guard's noses..along with meth and so forth coming in. I think prison really is a reflection of society at large though.

It is on one of our cable channels. It isn't a movie. It is a series.

I haven’t heard of it. Doesn’t sound like my cup of tea.

Yes, I have heard of it. The commercials have always looked frightening (of course). I can’t imagine ever agreeing to be in the show.

Yeah, seriously. I don't want to get shanked cuz I looked at someone the wrong way or something. Some prisoners are fine, but I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of most of them. Guards can be nasty too, and exploitive.

I haven’t watched it, but one season was filmed at a local jail.

Yeah, they were taping all this stuff..and the jail didn't know it was going on? Lot of looking the other way there apparently!

Especially for the participants they are. One guy there was really losing it. He wanted to quit after 40 days. He got a visit from his wife that helped I think..plus some pats on the back from the jail staff.

@snowy22315 40 days is enough for me. he did great and i guess he earned a good money but with experiments and roles, even if people know it is an act, i feel, they start acting for real or other make them

There is not enough guards in a prison and lots of things happen.
