The Sirens Are Going Off / myLot

Twice so far in the last ten minutes the tornado sirens are going off. Ugh, spring strikes again! The warning should last at least another hour. I’m not driving to my dad’s in the dark, so Sadie and I will ride it out in my apartment. Wish us luck!

No one was hurt, but seven tornadoes touched down, and homes were destroyed. But the most important thing is no lives were lost.

We’re fine, thank you. Seven tornadoes, and a lot destroyed homes. I was listening this morning to a man who lost his home, and it was humbling. He said this will make them closer to each other and to God. It made me tear up.

@AmbiePam I looked at the Midwest weather map as I have a family member who was driving that way who was concerned there could be storms, and I saw that big wave and supposedly Dericho-forced winds, which sounded horrible. So yes of course, I thought of you! And one of my school friends lives outside of Tulsa, she has a tornado shelter because they have been hit so many times over the years, but I still worry about her. This is tornado alley here, but you definitely get the lion's share there! We may be getting bad storms tomorrow night, time will tell. Glad to hear you are OK, Amber!

Good luck..It must be terrifying. We had a tornado here one time. Had a tree come down on the roof. Luckily I was in the closet at the time. Tried to get the dog and cat to come with me, but they wouldn't come. Stay safe!

You must have been worried about the animals not coming with you! My friend with the rescue was crating her dogs, then running to the cellar, one by one.
