As if I didn't have enough to take care of...the landscape company was weed whacking in front of the house. I heard a big BAM on the front window. Apparently they had picked up a rock or something; and it slammed into the window. It's a floor-to-ceiling window, double pane. The outer pane is shattered into a million pieces. They will replace it for free; but I must find someone who will actually come out and do it. It will be an expensive window to replace. Our housekeeper came over yesterday to do the trash, make me PB&J sandwiches, etc. She will come over today to clear the area in front of the window that has to be replaced. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Sloppy Joe, sweet potatoes, broccoli and apricots Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin Dinner - Walmart Turkey/Cheddar sub What did you eat yesterday? I'm sorry the landscape company broke your window. I'm glad they're replacing it. I hope it can be done soon. Your food looks good. Yesterday I had eggs, potato, and banana with Keto bread for breakfast. Lunch was salmon and rice. The snack was potato salad and Dove DC Promise. Supper was a Colby-jack cheese sandwich on Keto bread.

You should report that matter to the police. Destruction of property, whether privately or publicly owned, should never be tolerated.

Since you don’t like country music, I know you’re NOT trying to do the Hee Haw “gloom, despair, and agony on me” thing. I had an optometry appointment yesterday, so I ate at Mark’s Feed Store for lunch (closer to the office), which means chicken & cheese-stuffed baked potato for lunch. Leftovers for dinner, along with a matzoh pizza. And PEACHES!!!!!!! Surprise!

@FourWalls I had pears yesterday. They usually give us one serving of fruit with every Meals on Wheels and 1 to 2 servings of veggies.

I wonder why they threw a rock at the window. That was irresponsible of them. We had chicken and stuffing for dinner and will eat the leftovers tonight. My friend/housemate has to work late today so I'm glad we have a good meal to heat up when we are hungry.

Oh dear. You could really do without that. Surely if they broke it they should organise the replacement.

@JudyEv It's much easier for me to just do it. I picked a highly-rated company so the guy should show up; and they should do a good job.

What a bummer. I hope the window replacement person is easier to get to work than the concrete step guy has been.

It's going to be very expensive for the landscape company's insurance. The window has to be built into the frame.

At least they're willing to cover the replacement cost, but finding someone reliable to do the job can be a task in itself. It's good to hear your housekeeper is lending a hand to clear the area.

Oh wow, I am sorry to hear that. That's good they'll replace it for free. Hopefully it can be done quickly. Meals sounds good minus fruits and veggies of course. I had a sandwich for dinner - I forget what for my first meal.

That is so not what you needed. I hope it isn’t as much trouble as it sounds like it will be. Yesterday, I had protein chips, prunes, a few pieces of bacon, and stuffed bell peppers my dad made.

That is frustrating, but very lucky that it only got the outer pane and didn't enter your home and injure you or do more harm.
